Hola — I’m Mari, a Latin American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, shaped by the rhythms of Guatemala and the roots of West Virginia. Crecí entre dos mundos — one that taught me faith and storytelling, and another that showed me rhythm and resilience. Somewhere in between, I found my voice.

Music has always been my bridge — the way I connect with people, culture, and the parts of myself that don’t need translation. Cada canción que escribo nace del corazón — from family, from memory, from the feeling of belonging everywhere and nowhere at once.

After years of creating, I finally have a body of work that feels like me — a project arriving in 2026 that celebrates heritage, identity, and the beauty of duality. It’s a love letter to where we come from and to everyone learning to carry both worlds with pride.

My purpose as an artist is to shed light on cultures like Guatemala and create a space where families, first-generation kids, and dreamers can feel seen. I want my songs to remind people that our raíces y nuestro futuro can coexist beautifully.
